Altered Feats

Below is a list of the feats that have been houserouled. Some feats are only houseruled to make them available from limited sources, or else have their contents or requirements altered. Where applicable the trainers of each source are designated, if no such designation is present it can be assume a character can learn this feat anywhere.

Axe Expertise:

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls you make with an axe. Also, when rolling damage for a weapon attack you make with an axe, you can reroll one damage die that results in a 1, but you must use the second result.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Bludgeoning Expertise:

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls you make with a hammer or a mace. You also gain a +1 feat bonus to the number of squares you push or slide creatures with weapon attacks you make with a hammer or a mace.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Bow Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a bow. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage roll of any weapon attack you make with a bow against a single creature that is not adjacent to any other creature. This damage bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Crossbow Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a crossbow. Also, you ignore partial cover and superior cover with weapon attacks you make with a crossbow.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Flail Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a flail. In addition, when you hit with a melee weapon attack using a flail and the attack lets you slide the target, you can knock the target prone instead of sliding it.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Heavy Blade Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a heavy blade. In addition, while wielding a heavy blade, you gain a +2 bonus to all defenses against opportunity attacks.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Holy Symbol Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to implement attack rolls that you make with a holy symbol. When you attack an enemy with an implement attack using a holy symbol, your enemies cannot gain combat advantage against you until the start of your next turn, unless you use a power or another ability that states that you grant combat advantage.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Ki Focus Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to implement attack rolls and weapon attack rolls that you make with your ki focus. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage rolls of attacks that you make with your ki focus against a bloodied enemy. This damage bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.

(thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Light Blade Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a light blade. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage rolls of weapon attacks that you make with a light blade against a creature granting combat advantage to you. This damage bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Master at Arms

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to the attack rolls of weapon attacks. Also, you can use a minor action to sheathe a weapon and then draw a weapon.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Orb Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to implement attack rolls that you make with an orb. You also gain a +1 feat bonus to the number of squares you pull, push, or slide targets of attacks that you make with an orb.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Pick Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a pick. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to pick damage rolls against any enemy that has a size category larger than yours. This damage bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Polearm Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a polearm. In addition, while you hold a two-handed polearm in both hands, you gain a +2 bonus to all defenses against charge attacks.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Rod Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to implement attack rolls that you make with a rod. When you hold a rod, you gain a +1 shield bonus to AC and Reflex.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Sling Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a sling. In addition, when you make a ranged or an area attack with a sling, you don’t provoke opportunity attacks for doing so.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Spear Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls that you make with a spear. When charging, you also gain a +1 bonus to damage rolls of weapon attacks that you make with a spear. This damage bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Staff Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to the attack rolls of implement powers and weapon powers that you use with a staff. In addition, when you make a ranged or an area attack with a staff as an implement, you don’t provoke opportunity attacks for doing so. When you make a melee weapon attack with a staff, the weapon’s reach for that attack increases by 1.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Totem Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to implement attack rolls you make with a totem. Also, you ignore partial cover and partial concealment on implement attacks you make with a totem.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Two-Handed Weapon Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls you make with a two-handed melee weapon. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage rolls of charge attacks you make with a two-handed melee weapon. This damage bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier. Selecting it a 3rd time would have increased the bonus to +3 on epic tier)

Wand Expertise

  • Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to implement attack rolls that you make with a wand. Also, you ignore partial cover and superior cover on implement attacks you make with a wand.
    You can select this feat multiple times, each time increasing the attack bonus by 1 in the next tier. (thus selecting this feat twice, gains a +1 feat bonus on heroic tier, a +2 bonus on paragon tier and a +2 bonus on epic tier.
